Position Overview

Peaple Talent is collaborating with a dynamic and award-winning software organization that is currently experiencing significant growth. They are looking to enhance their development team by bringing on board an Automation Testing Specialist. This individual will serve as the key authority on automated testing, software robustness, and performance evaluation of software products and releases.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in C#, .Net, iOS, Cypress, and GitHub, and will excel in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a willingness to explore innovative ideas and methodologies are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, sustain, and enhance automation frameworks.
  • Diagnose and resolve software bugs and issues effectively.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to meet customer commitments and achieve business objectives.
  • Act as the primary expert in testing and automation processes.
  • Establish clear acceptance criteria for all work.
  • Maintain work items and provide reports on testing activities.
  • Investigate and suggest testing tools, methodologies, and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in testing containerized applications and microservices.
  • Proficient in automated testing tools, particularly Cypress.
  • Experience with testing on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Proficient in using GitHub.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and embracing new experiences.
  • Understanding of agile product development methodologies.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Familiarity with agile tools, preferably Jira.
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools, such as Datadog.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Flutter for mobile application development.
