Bodyshop Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead our client's accident repair centre in Newcastle. The successful candidate will have a background in managing a team of experts and driving site success through passionate leadership and informed decision-making.

The Role:
  • Manage a team of Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, Estimator, and administrative staff
  • Oversee entire site management, including Health and Safety, Performance Management, Financials, and Customer Service
  • Set targets and ensure Key to Key and CSI targets are met or exceeded
  • Provide strong leadership to direct reports and all site employees
  • Monitor individual productive performance to minimise non-productive time
  • Establish, maintain, and promote good working relations with key personnel
  • Deal with customer issues
Requirements:
  • Technical knowledge and experience of the Accident Repair and Bodyshop industry
  • Previous experience within a management position with the ability to lead and coach the team
  • Ability to organise office administration, control systems, and financial resources
  • Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle design and manufacture, consumer and vehicle legislation, industry and best practice
  • Knowledge and understanding of the provisions of E.P.A. and C.O.S.H.H
  • Knowledge and understanding of BSI Standards and accreditation
