About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Shift Leader at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and supporting your colleagues to deliver a great shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead from the front, setting a great example for your colleagues and ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Take ownership of running duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
- Be there for customers, listening to their needs and helping to resolve any issues.
- Look for ways to improve service, including coaching your colleagues and providing feedback to the team.
- Maintain a great understanding of how your store is performing, and assist managers in delivering any actions that help improve the running of the store.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. We also offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to work fewer hours if needed.
