About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Accountant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Prepare accounts, including financial statements and tax returns
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client queries and concerns
  • Work closely with the accounts team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in client accounting, preferably in a practice environment
  • Strong IT and technical skills, including experience with accounts software such as Xero
  • AAT qualification or qualified by experience (QBE)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
