Defence Network Test Manager

This role involves working within the UK Defence industry, requiring the applicant to be able to be security cleared to a UK SC level. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' residency in the UK.
The Defence Network Test Manager will be responsible for liaising with customers to confirm requirements and ensuring that tests are designed in line with the programme testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Planning, managing, and delivering the project test event.
- Designing test environments, incorporating existing reference systems, systems under test, and test tools such as iTrinergy Network Emulator, IXIA Breaking Point, Endace data capture system, and Riverbed analytical tool.
- Configuring and deploying appropriate test tools to meet predefined test aims.
- Creating, validating, and baselining the test environment and producing test documentation.
- Analysis of test results and producing detailed task reports.
- Working to defined processes and procedures as defined within ISO 9001.
- Systems engineer with experience in communications and information systems.
- Testing experience, including a detailed knowledge of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) network emulation, stimulation, and monitoring tools.
- Experience in testing CIS systems or applications.
