AJ Chambers is seeking a seasoned Commercial Contracts professional to join their clients' busy and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-contentious commercial contracts, with experience in agency, distribution, data protection, franchising, IT-related agreements, licensing, and exploitation of intellectual property.

The role will involve working on a variety of commercial contracts, including:

  • Partnerships and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs)
  • Competition law
  • Asset finance and consumer credit

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent academic credentials and a strong ambition for career development
  • Good commercial experience, with a mix of corporate and commercial experience considered
  • Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills, with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational ability
  • An eye for detail
  • The ability to present to clients and contacts on key legal issues
  • The ability to work independently, seeking assistance from other team members on complex matters
  • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience
