We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Corporate Tax practice, you will play a vital role in providing tax advisory services to a wide range of corporate and owner-managed clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, including control of billings and cash collection within the firm's criteria.
- Review work prepared by more junior members of staff and ensure assignments are completed within agreed budgets.
- Liaise with HMRC and ensure that the firm's quality control procedures are adhered to.
- Identify risk and technical matters, as well as selling opportunities, to the Partner/Senior Manager/Manager.
- Provide training and guidance to more junior staff, while consistently providing feedback and developing their skills.
- Education to degree level, and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
- Ability to guide and supervise less experienced colleagues.
- Support, train, mentor, and advise others in your area.
- Challenge current practice and drive improvements and champion change.
- Take personal responsibility for your decisions and actions, and those of others.
