Job Title: Head of Corporate Portfolio

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Corporate Portfolio team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the strategic management of our corporate loan portfolio, ensuring the safe growth of our customers while minimizing credit risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Corporate Portfolio team to ensure the successful management of the portfolio, including early identification of customers potentially facing stressed and/or distressed situations.
  • Provide credit risk-focused relationship management with a commercial edge, supporting the safe growth of customers within their Aggregate Credit Limit.
  • Develop and implement turnaround strategies and techniques to minimize credit risk.
  • Manage the application and performance of aggregate credit limits (ACLs) across portfolio accounts.
  • Work with the first-line Credit & Portfolio Risk team and the Second-line Credit Risk team in the management and development of credit risk policies and standards.
  • Regularly report and analyze portfolio risks and performance against risk appetite.
Requirements:
  • Lending/underwriting experience across residential and commercial assets.
  • Relationship management experience.
  • Leadership experience of managing/working as part of a high-performing corporate lending team.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles across the credit lifecycle, credit analytics, and policies.
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders to improve the customer journey.
