**Job Summary**
We are currently supporting a leading university in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a temporary to permanent basis. The position offers hybrid working (3 days working from home) and is paying £35-£45ph depending on experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and deliver a strategic and operational HR plan in partnership with the senior management of the estates and facilities function and other professional advisers.
- Identify risks and develop action plans for assigned faculties/directorates and work collaboratively with other HRBPs to identify alignment of risks with other areas.
- Deliver high-level and non-routine professional advice and guidance to senior managers in the assigned area.
- Support the ER team with complex and/or high-risk cases, including investigations, appeals, implementation of legal advice and employment tribunal claims.
- Identify HR service improvement opportunities within HR operations and, in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team and other Business Partners.
- Experience of talent management and developing complex succession management plans.
- Project management skills with experience of successfully developing and managing complex change programmes and projects.
- Good IT skills, including self-reliance in MS Office applications.
