Vasectomy Specialist

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Vasectomy Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to provide high-quality clinical services for patients undergoing vasectomy and associated care. As a Vasectomy Specialist, you will work closely with our team to deliver outstanding patient-centred care that meets the needs of the local population and reduces health inequalities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform non-scalpel vasectomies under local anaesthesia and assist with the organisation of surgical lists.
2. Provide pre-operative counselling and support to service users.
3. Review post-operative semen analysis results and provide information to clients during the procedure and immediately post-operatively.
