We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team, based at our headquarters in the UK. This role will involve:
- Conducting internal and external audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with food and feed safety standards.
- Managing on-site procedures, supplier approval systems, and maintaining specific HACCPs.
- Delivering training on food and feed requirements and promoting the use of our QA database system.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and being involved in company meetings.
- Monitoring suppliers based on performance and key criteria.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in quality assurance, auditing, and food safety. You will have:
- A proven track record of working in an auditing role, with experience in food or feed safety.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A natural and engaging communication style, with a passion for customer contact and developing trusting relationships.
- Ability to work on own initiative, making decisions, managing own workload and time.
