Job Description

Job Title: Supervisor - Parttime

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Supervisor of Animal Interactions at Godstone Farm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every visitor has a memorable and enjoyable experience with our animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the welfare of the animals and ensure their safety and cleanliness.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Animal Interaction buildings and/or roaming animal experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and animal welfare.
  • Lead and motivate the Animal Interactions team to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Livestock Manager to ensure the animals have everything they need cost effectively.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in animal management and experience working with animals.
  • Good level of education, with at least Grade A-C in English and Maths.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.

Working Hours: This is a part-time role working on a two-week rolling rota. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
