About the Role

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Primary Care Network (PCN) practices with data management, summarizing, coding, and searches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and summarize medical records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Process clinical correspondence in a timely and efficient manner
  • Accurately code information into the practices' clinical system
  • Monitor and maintain patient call and recall systems
  • Assist practices with queries related to medical records
  • Support the management of disease registers and QOF processes
  • Maintain clinical system audits and reports
  • Support the development of EMIS templates and protocols

Requirements

  • Thorough experience in Primary Care
  • Expertise in EMIS Web
  • Experience with Docman and coding
  • Understanding of QOF and Primary Care targets
  • Understanding of PCSE work - Registrations and Deduction processes
