About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to join our team at Russell James Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical design work packages and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and guide a team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers to ensure efficient delivery of electrical design work packages.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and implement solid delivery plans for electrical engineering and hardware design work packages.
  • Develop and maintain supplier and sub-contractor relationships to ensure the availability of high-quality resources to support peak demands.
  • Develop and maintain internal standards, templates, libraries, methods, and best practices to ensure the highest possible efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and develop Electrical Engineering and Hardware Design Engineers to meet the growing demands of the business.
Requirements
  • Minimum of BEng in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years in a relevant technical delivery or management role.
  • Subject Matter Expert in electrical control systems.
