Field Service Technician Required
Our client is a prominent player in the Energy Generation sector, seeking to expand their team with a Field Service Technician.

Position Overview
The role involves overseeing daily operations of gas fields, flares, plants, and generators at designated locations to ensure compliance and optimize safe electrical output.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance on all mechanical, thermal, and electrical equipment utilized in landfill gas operations (training and competency provided).
- Provide 24-hour emergency response for generator set failures.
- Uphold Health & Safety and Environmental standards by adhering to established procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the company's operational and maintenance protocols, including documentation and inventory management.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, thermal, and electrical equipment, including pumps and motors.
- Manage spare parts ordering and stock control.
- Monitor gas fields, including maintenance and repair tasks.
- Conduct aftercare and flare maintenance for contracted landfill sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized site to reflect positively on the company.
- Minimize unnecessary costs by utilizing available skills and tools, reducing reliance on external contractors.
- Assist in the commissioning of generator sets and facilitate handover to operations.
- Operate within the company's Health & Safety and quality management systems.
- Commit to ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills related to environmental protection and materials management.
- Conduct air emissions monitoring and manage spill responses using pollution prevention equipment.
- Address outstanding issues identified during site audits.
- Collaborate with Landfill site Operations Management.

Position Requirements
- Experience in mechanical, thermal, electrical, or landfill gas disciplines.
- Familiarity with Landfill Gas systems and generators is beneficial.
- Gas safe accreditation is a plus.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Valid UK driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.

Remuneration
- Salary: £33,671 with an OTE of £40k
- 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- Company vehicle provided
- Holiday entitlement: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
