We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adults Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
- Encourage and support adults to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and record patient conditions, reporting any concerns or changes to the team.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
