Electrical Site Manager
Location: East London
Contract Position

CV-Library is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee a residential construction project. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in residential projects, ideally with a Tier 1 Mechanical and Electrical Contractor.

Role Overview:
This position is pivotal to the successful execution of the project, encompassing responsibilities such as stakeholder engagement, adherence to health and safety regulations, quality assurance, environmental compliance, project scheduling, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exhibiting strong leadership and motivation.
  2. Ensuring electrical installations adhere to established timelines.
  3. Implementing rigorous quality control measures.
  4. Facilitating regular meetings with all project stakeholders.
  5. Providing progress updates to the project manager.
  6. Creating and managing a two-week work forecast.
  7. Overseeing subcontractor performance to meet project deadlines.
  8. Assisting in the commissioning and project handover phases.
  9. Reviewing project scope and generating Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) as necessary.
  10. Submitting technical documentation for all equipment and packages under the direction of the project manager.
  11. Maintaining comprehensive site records, permits, and equipment registers.
  12. Conducting routine safety inspections on-site.
  13. Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
  14. Evaluating work methods and materials to enhance profitability.
  15. Upholding the company's policies on Sustainability, Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental Standards, and Training, while embodying the company's culture and values.
  16. Performing any additional duties pertinent to the role.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Relevant qualifications in Electrical trades.
  2. Valid CSCS card.
  3. SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  4. Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor.
  5. Exceptional leadership and management capabilities.
