Senior Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at JustEng Recruitment. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of complex building structures, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and meet the required building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and analysis of building structures, including the development of detailed designs and calculations;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet the required building codes and regulations;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met;
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Chartered structural engineer, through IStructE or ICE ideally, or working towards chartership;
  • Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng, BSc, MSc, or MEng);
  • Proven track record of technical delivery of civil and structural engineering design projects;
  • Analysis of structures and detailed design of elements utilizing various internationally recognized standards;
  • Customer-focused with a high level of communication and management skills;
  • Good analytical and organisational skills;
  • High level of computer proficiency.
