Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Team Member to join our busy catering department at Slimbridge Wetland Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining stock levels, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in all areas of the catering department, including front of house customer service and food preparation.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Support the Catering Manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
- GCSE standard or equivalent education.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar catering operation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work flexible daytime shifts, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
