Position Overview

Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our expanding team. This role is essential for ensuring that all machining processes are executed with precision and adhere to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating and setting up CNC machinery, including mills and lathes, while ensuring optimal performance.
  • Programming CNC machines and performing routine maintenance to uphold operational efficiency.
  • Adhering to maintenance schedules and conducting regular inspections of equipment.
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of a Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) system to support the machining division.
  • Following all work instructions and inspection protocols in compliance with current regulations.
Health and Safety Commitment

It is imperative to demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety practices. Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding and complying with documented controls and processes, including Procedures, Risk Assessments, and COSHH Assessments.
  • Actively participating in the investigation of incidents and near misses, identifying corrective and preventive actions.
Collaboration and Resource Management

Work closely with supervisors and the purchasing department to:

  • Ensure that adequate machinery, equipment, and materials are procured to meet production demands.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of technical training in machining or welding from a recognized institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a workshop environment, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and machining.
  • Certification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and machine operation.
Compensation

The position offers a competitive salary of £18 per hour.
