Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QHSE Coordinator to join our team in Peterborough. As a QHSE Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support to ensure compliance with legislation and corporate policy to Line Managers
  • Review incident trends, follow up actions from audits and incidents
  • Prepare monthly QHSE statistics for site meetings
  • Advise and assist with investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring actions are completed within agreed SLA timings
  • Manage Food Safety and Quality standards within the operation

Requirements

  • Experience working at a similar level within a logistics/warehousing environment, ideally within 3PL
  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with senior management and customers
  • Working towards or desire to obtain NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent - National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
  • Experience in QHSE Management systems
  • The candidate will ideally have experience of Food Safety Regulations/Compliance in accordance with BRC Global Standard for Warehousing & Distribution Issue 4
