We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Elizabeth Michael Associates. As a key member of our Accounts Department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Management: Regularly perform reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of our financial records. Identify discrepancies and work to resolve them promptly.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process client and office receipts, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Invoice Management: Check and process both private and legal aid bills with precision, ensuring all invoices are accurate and submitted according to deadlines.
- Payment Systems: Set up and manage electronic payment systems for the firm.
- Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee the purchase ledger, including processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments.
- Petty Cash Management: Handle petty cash transactions, including recording and reconciling expenditures.
- Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile company credit cards.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in running month-end and year-end financial processes.
Requirements:
- Accounting Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in an accounting role.
