Job Title: Head of Legal Practice

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our legal practice and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of our CLC authorisation, updating internal compliance policies and procedures as necessary, and ensuring that all staff are trained on compliance and client-facing quality of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and update internal policies and procedures as necessary
  • Train staff on compliance and client-facing quality of service
  • Report directly to the Head of Conveyancing and Directors on matters of compliance and internal policy creation
  • Oversee and sign off all lead generation and service advertisements to ensure compliance with CLC marketing requirements
Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with at least 6 years PQE
  • At least 2 years of experience in a compliance role working in a legal practice dealing with KYC and money laundering procedures, regulatory requirements, and client care documentation
  • Excellent working knowledge of Data Protection, Money Laundering, Training and CPD obligations, and other relevant regulations
