Are you dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for students with Special Educational Needs? Progress Teachers Ltd is looking to hire two skilled SEN Support Specialists to assist small groups of students in a nurturing educational environment.

Both roles are full-time, with the potential for permanent employment for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, as well as learning delays within the mainstream classroom setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and execute personalized education plans (PEPs).
  • Work in close partnership with the school’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and classroom educators to develop effective strategies for student engagement.
  • Demonstrate experience in supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs in educational or social care environments.
  • Possess knowledge of special education methodologies and techniques.
  • Hold a current DBS certificate on the update service or be prepared to apply for one.
