Role Overview

Bank of America, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Finance Specialist to join the Alternative Modelling Group & Quantitative Solutions team. This team is responsible for developing risk and capital models and analytical tools to support decision-making across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the roll out of GRA's core platform to new users
  • Enhance statistical libraries used for model development
  • Standardize and optimize processes across the model development lifecycle
  • Implement High Performance Modelling to enhance efficiency
  • Develop innovative approaches to quantitative challenges
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop technical solutions
  • Utilize Python code to implement solutions

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Experience in model development or quantitative research
  • Programming skills in languages like R, Python, SQL
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a complex organization
  • Team player with collaboration skills

  • Experience with data architecture and modeling tools
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques
  • Ability to extract and analyze data from disparate systems
