Care Supervisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Supervisor to join our team at Connected Health. As a Care Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our service users, working closely with our Area Manager and dedicated team to ensure the safe and effective provision of care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Complete shadowing with new staff and ensure relevant paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Monitor and complete 6 and 12 weekly reports on new staff members' performance.
  • Be accountable for the quality and maintenance of Client Care folders on a monthly basis.
  • Work alongside the Area Manager to complete client monitoring visits and reviews.
  • Participate in emergency cover when required.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and support to care staff.
  • Support in the audits of all processes to ensure high-quality care.
  • Ensure accurate and concise records are maintained at all times.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to promote good staff relations and effective work performance.

Office Responsibilities:

  • Participate in on-call phone duties on alternative weekends.
  • Update the QP platform with any changes to rostering when it's your working weekend.
  • Complete weekend handover.
  • Work with your Area Manager on rostering if staff shortages or sickness occur.
  • Report and complete any paperwork for issues or concerns from staff or clients directly to your Area Manager.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 1 year's care experience.
  • Must be a driver with access to own car.
  • Must be fully flexible regarding working hours.

Desirable Criteria:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 desirable. Must be willing to work towards level 3.
  • Currently NISCC registered.
