Position Overview

Innova Solutions is seeking a skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves contributing to the design, assessment, testing, and support of electronic devices utilized in automated service solutions.

The successful candidate will engage in a collaborative environment, participating in all phases of the electronics development lifecycle, from initial concept through to design specifications, prototype assembly, and qualification support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create and enhance embedded systems utilizing microprocessors, microcontrollers, and FPGA technology.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for electronic modules and systems.
  • Electronics Design: Engage in both digital and analog electronics design.
  • Schematic Capture: Utilize tools for schematic capture, with a preference for Cadence Allegro experience.
  • Testing: Formulate test specifications and generate detailed reports.
  • Motor Control: Apply knowledge of DC stepper motor control.
  • Sensor Technology: Demonstrate expertise in sensor technologies.
  • Power Supply Design: Understand switch mode power supply design principles.
  • PCB Layout: Exhibit a solid understanding of PCB layout processes.
  • Debugging: Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the component level.
  • Testing Procedures: Conduct unit tests and system evaluations.
  • Project Management: Provide accurate estimates of effort and timelines to project management.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly update on project status, quality, and scope of changes.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to high work standards.
  • Experience with USB devices and EMC compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate with suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
