OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As a pivotal member of the Global Compliance Division, you will be joining the Control, Finance & Operating Divisions (CF&O) Compliance team. This global team is dedicated to ensuring compliance across various operational sectors, including Engineering, Controllers, Corporate Treasury, Risk, and more. Your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining a robust compliance framework that mitigates regulatory and reputational risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive compliance oversight for Corporate Treasury and Executive Office, focusing on regulatory and conduct risks.
- Deliver real-time compliance guidance to the Corporate Treasury Department, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and internal policies.
- Engage with the Corporate Treasury trading group to offer specific compliance advice related to trading activities.
- Participate in firmwide strategic initiatives, particularly those involving the firm's Strategic Investments.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop proactive strategies to address regulatory changes and enforcement actions.
- Collaborate with CF&O divisions to identify and resolve compliance issues, enhancing the overall compliance culture.
- Design and implement policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and firm expectations.
- Facilitate training and communication efforts to educate stakeholders on compliance matters.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, or Regulatory roles, specifically within Corporate Treasury or related functions.
- A Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degrees in relevant fields are advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization while maintaining independence as a compliance professional.
- A solid understanding of EU and US regulations, including MIFID II, MAR, Dodd Frank, CFTC, and SEC.
