As part of a commitment to continuous enhancement in health and safety within a premier chemicals manufacturing facility, we are seeking a dedicated Shift Chemical Production Technician. This role is essential for supervising the operational processes of the chemical production plant, ensuring optimal equipment performance, and maintaining the quality, efficiency, and safety standards of the manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate must be prepared to work on a shift basis, which includes day, night, and extended hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess the condition of production processes.
- Conduct data logging and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee the receipt and dispatch of materials, including the loading and unloading of road tankers, utilizing forklift trucks.
- Possess prior experience in chemical processing or a related field, which is advantageous.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Report any operational issues to the appropriate management or department without delay.
- Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols at all times.
- Actively engage in the company's performance management and development initiatives.
- Strive to produce high-quality work, meeting deadlines and specifications, while leveraging available technology and skills.
- Comply with the company's Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Work hours: This is a 24/7 operational site, requiring a 4 On, 4 Off shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Benefits:
