Key Responsibilities:
  • Month-End Processes: You will be responsible for managing the month-end processes, ensuring timely delivery of accurate and insightful information.
  • Business Unit Management: As a member of the business unit management team, you will contribute to the day-to-day operational performance of the business and relay financial performance and risk.
  • Forecasting and Planning: You will lead the forecasting and planning for the commercial unit and work with the business on strategic plans and business cases.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You will engage with senior managers to successfully business partner with meaningful data and insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: You will be an effective business partner, constantly seeking out opportunities to improve performance and management information.
  • Collaboration: You will collaborate with the central finance team to deliver best-in-class reporting, forecasting, and leading to insightful analysis and transformational change.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to learn a business quickly and forge meaningful relationships to effectively business partner with key stakeholders to enable sound commercial decision-making. You will ideally have advanced Excel skills as well as exposure to BI and Performance Management tools. Roles are hybrid, with 2-3 days on-site in Birmingham and the rest remote.
