Join Our Team as a Vehicle Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Vehicle Preparation Specialist within our Click & Collect division.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Role Overview:
As a Vehicle Preparation Specialist at Arnold Clark, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all vehicles are presented in pristine condition. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment, possesses a keen eye for detail, and excels in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly cleaning both sold and stock vehicles to meet high standards.
  • Utilizing an online scheduling system to manage vehicle appointments.
  • Employing a high-powered pressure washer for external cleaning.
  • Using a powerful vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiors.
  • Operating polishing and buffing machines to enhance vehicle bodywork.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Meeting set timeframes and performance targets.
  • Maintaining a daily log of completed tasks.
  • Assisting with additional branch duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to engage in training opportunities.

While prior valet experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory; we are willing to provide training for candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and meet the necessary criteria. All new staff will have the opportunity to attend our Valet Academy.
