Job Title: Maths and English Skills Educator

We are seeking a dedicated Maths and English Skills Educator to join our team at Remedy Education. As a Maths and English Skills Educator, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one tutoring sessions to secondary school students in Functional Skills English and Maths.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct one-to-one tutoring sessions in Functional Skills English and Maths for secondary school students.
  • Assess students' strengths and weaknesses and develop customized lesson plans.
  • Provide guidance and support in homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills.
  • Create a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm.
  • Monitor and track students' progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
  • Stay current with the secondary school curriculum and teaching methods to ensure effective instruction.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.
Requirements:
  • Teaching certification or relevant tutoring experience preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the Functional Skills English and Maths curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
