Job Title: Legal Recruitment Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Permanent People Rec2Rec. As a Legal Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with law firms and legal departments across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with law firms and legal departments to understand their recruitment needs and provide expert advice.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify and engage top legal talent through various channels, including networking, job boards, and industry events.
  • Interviewing & Assessment: Conduct interviews and assess the suitability of candidates for specific legal roles.
  • Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities and expand our client base within the legal sector.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, legal salary benchmarks, and the legal job market to provide expert advice to clients and candidates.
  • Negotiation: Manage the offer process between clients and candidates, ensuring a smooth negotiation and acceptance process.
  • Placement: Successfully place candidates in legal roles, from junior associates to senior partners.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the legal sector, is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with both clients and candidates. Strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Attitude: A driven, motivated, and results-oriented individual with a passion for achieving targets and delivering exceptional service.
  • Knowledge: A good understanding of the legal industry and the challenges faced by law firms and in-house legal teams.
