Transport Operations Manager

Job Title: Transport SupervisorWe are seeking a skilled Transport Supervisor to join our team. As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the service, image, and performance of the contract meet the customer's expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Maximise contract profitability, control costs, invoicing, and ensure the timely submission of financial data.
- Ensure service level targets are achieved and exceeded while minimising delivery and collection costs in line with budget.
- Manage all aspects of the contract service centre, ensuring the achievement of the contract KPIs as set out by both company and the customer.
- Evident supervisory experience in production/logistics/mail/parcels services environment to at least the same level of responsibility.
- Ability to identify problems and design/enact deployable solutions.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven record of successful customer interface and supplier and/or driver management.
- Have a solid understanding in transport legal compliance.
- Ability to manage commercial relationships with customers and suppliers through the maintenance of service/product processes to deliver excellent customer service, promoting organic growth and reducing customer attrition.
Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry is an essential requirement for this role.
