Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at Avon & Somerset Police HQ. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure all areas of the office, including kitchens, toilets, and communal areas, are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
  • Replenish stock and consumables, such as toilet tissue and hand gels, to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Act as a champion of health and safety practices, reporting any near misses to ensure the well-being of colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential. Our comprehensive training program will ensure you are fully equipped to handle all aspects of health and safety.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to changing situations when needed.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to take instruction and work collaboratively.
