The Role

As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and running jobs using information from engineering drawings. You will operate and program CNC machines, ensuring machine safety guidelines are being followed and correct PPE is always worn. Your duties will include being responsible for the production and scheduling of work, monitoring product standards, and supporting quality-control procedures. You will also be expected to maximise productivity, minimise downtime of machines, and provide daily/weekly/monthly performance reports and analysis as required. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained throughout the machine shop.

The Person

We are looking for a time served miller with experience using Mazak. You should be able to set, operate, and programme machines using above controls. A machining background and general all-round knowledge/experience are essential. You should be self-disciplined and reliable, with excellent inter-personnel communication skills. Enthusiasm, determination, self-discipline, and reliability are also essential.
