Job Summary

Fyba Talent is seeking a highly experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team as a Senior Civils Manager - Network Deployment Specialist. This role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of civil infrastructure for an FTTP network deployment project within Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Civils Delivery Manager to ensure timely completion of network build and installations, adhering to client and project specifications.
• Monitor work progress to guarantee streetworks permits and client timescales are met, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
• Prepare and review daily/weekly reports, highlighting any risks or concerns to the Civils Delivery Manager, and ensuring project delivery milestones are met.
• Conduct internal inspections, compliance checks, and quality control assessments to ensure work sites meet NRSWA and Health & Safety standards.
• Liaise with Local Authorities and clients to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Perform audits to verify that work sites adhere to NRSWA and Health & Safety standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure all productivity targets are achieved, and that all work is carried out safely and to adequate standards as stated in the contract specification.
• Review and close all corrective actions, and raise improvement actions to redefine works, ensuring continuous process improvement.
• Ensure all completed works documentation and as-builts drawings are completed and accurate.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in civils supervising, preferably on FTTH/P projects.
• Good understanding of Fibre Network Delivery within FTTP.
• Competent IT skills, including knowledge and experience of a broad range of applications and packages.
• Ability to understand and implement agreed plans that support the needs of the business and operational effectiveness.
• NRSWA Supervisor accreditation.
• Driving Licence.
