Position Overview

Arthur, a prominent player in the Insurance sector, is seeking a Lead Internal Audit Specialist to enhance our audit capabilities. This role involves close collaboration with the Senior Manager, co-source partners, and various risk, compliance, and legal teams.

Over the past 18 months, we have been strengthening our corporate governance teams and are now poised to expand our audit function. The selected candidate will be instrumental in the ongoing enhancement of our global audit operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance internal audit assessments.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to track the progress of audit corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of identified issues and proactive escalation when necessary.
  • Facilitate coordination with co-source partners.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal audit and risk initiatives on a global scale.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, integrity, and accountability, raising awareness of the significance of risk management, internal controls, and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Remain informed about changes in auditing standards, regulatory updates, and industry trends affecting the insurance landscape.
Candidate Profile:
  • Professional qualifications (PQ or Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIA).
  • Demonstrated experience in an Internal Audit capacity within the Insurance or Brokerage sectors is essential.
  • Exceptional time management abilities, with a knack for prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
  • Dynamic, self-driven individual with outstanding interpersonal skills.

Compensation for this role ranges from £70k to £80k, commensurate with experience, along with bonus opportunities, benefits, and a hybrid working model.
