We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Waiter or Head Waitress to join our team at Berners Tavern, a renowned restaurant located in the heart of London's Fitzrovia. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring seamless service, and leading a team of Commis Waiters and Chef de Rang.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of a section in the restaurant, managing orders, making recommendations, and processing payments
  • Lead the Chef de Rang and Commis Waiters, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of food, drink, and allergens, ensuring accurate information is provided to guests
  • Communicate effectively with management and the Kitchen, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Take responsibility for ensuring a seamless guest experience, addressing any issues promptly and professionally

  • Be a team player, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve exceptional service
