About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Engineer to support the growth of our fire services department. As the second in command to the Head of Fire, you will play a key role in developing and implementing fire safety strategies, delivering value to clients, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement fire safety strategies for clients across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, and retail.
  2. Conduct third-party reviews and ensure projects meet fire safety standards.
  3. Manage government funding applications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Perform fire risk assessments and provide expert witness services as required.
  5. Support projects throughout their entire life-cycle, from conception to completion.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  7. Contribute to business development and growth initiatives.
  8. Assist in the growth and development of the wider team.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in a related role, preferably in a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
  2. Relevant degree or master's qualification, with additional credentials such as chartership desirable.
  3. Prior management experience and a background in fire safety or a related field.
