About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Urdu teacher to join our team at Star Academies. As a Star teacher, you will be part of a high-performing and supportive network of primary and secondary schools with some of the best teachers in education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students, with a focus on achieving excellent outcomes.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials.

About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Urdu teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. You will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning, with a focus on achieving excellent outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree-level qualification in Urdu or a related subject.
  • Experience of teaching Urdu to GCSE standard.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Ability to innovate and be creative in the classroom, with a focus on engaging and progressing learners.
