Job Opportunity:

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to provide one-to-one educational support to a student in need of additional guidance. The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a proven track record of delivering effective educational support to students with diverse needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering core subject support in English, Maths, and Science to a Year 10 student who is not currently accessing mainstream education. The tutor will work 15 hours per week, providing face-to-face support at the student's school, as well as online sessions where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one educational support to a student in need of additional guidance
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the student's needs
  • Provide core subject support in English, Maths, and Science
  • Work collaboratively with the student's school and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless support

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience in delivering educational support to students with diverse needs
  • Ability to work face-to-face and online
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
