Position: Software Simulation Engineer

Location: On-site

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of software for advanced simulation systems.
  • Manage requirements, design, implementation, and testing within budget and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and offer constructive feedback to team members and leadership.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Develop technical solutions that incorporate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with clients to support deployed systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Oversee task management and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for the department.
  • Contribute to the development of system architectures that align with evolving IT and security requirements.
  • Plan and estimate development activities effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Proficient in programming with C/C++.
  • Experience with configuration management tools.
  • Demonstrated team leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of avionics and mission systems.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Background in task leadership, including quality management documentation.
  • Understanding of Typhoon systems, particularly cockpit Human Machine Interface (HMI).
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for software task management.
  • Familiarity with simulation interoperability standards (HLA/DIS/Link16).
