Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Manager to join our team at Otis. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our site, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: You will be responsible for managing site budgets and resources, ensuring accurate expenditure control, and reporting on operational and commercial risk.
  • Project Delivery: You will implement project plans, manage site logistics, and ensure that all projects are delivered to meet contractual obligations.
  • Team Leadership: You will provide leadership and direction to our field teams, setting clear expectations and ensuring individual and team accountability for site output.
  • Customer Focus: You will build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and serving as a key contact for clients and representatives.
  • Process Compliance: You will ensure compliance to organisational processes and procedures, working closely with relevant departments and subject matter experts.
  • Operational Complexity: You will navigate operational complexities, both internal and external, to resolve challenges and make sound decisions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: You will have relevant experience in field management, preferably within the engineering or construction sector.
  • Financial Management: You will have experience in financial management and controls.
  • Customer and Supplier Relationships: You will have experience in building customer and supplier relationships.
  • Project Planning: You will have experience in interpreting and implementing project plans.
  • People Management: You will have demonstrable people management and leadership experience.
  • Qualifications: You will be NVQ level 3 or 4 qualified in engineering or equivalent relevant qualification or experience.
