Job Summary:

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor - Learning and Development Specialist to work with disengaged students to develop their attitudes and behaviours towards academic achievement. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored interventions to support students with behavioural problems and low academic aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver class-based and 1:1 interventions to support students with challenging behaviours
  • Work with students to develop their attitudes and behaviours towards academic achievement
  • Provide guidance and support to students to overcome barriers to learning
  • Act as a role model and mentor to students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective interventions

Requirements:

  • Experience working with challenging behaviours
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures
