We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Geriatrician to join our Elderly Care Team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in Geriatric Medicine, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. You will be expected to participate in the acute medical on-call rota and contribute to ward rounds, rapid access clinics, and MDT meetings.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in General Adult Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Stroke Medicine, with evidence of leadership skills and experience of working in a multidisciplinary team. You should have a high level of competence in clinical governance and learning from errors.
