We are seeking an experienced and motivated Radiographer to join our team as a Clinical Lead in CT and Interventional Radiology. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, training, and development of radiographers and other staff members.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the training and development of radiographers, assistant practitioners, and student radiographers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Act as a clinical expert and role model, demonstrating and maintaining up-to-date skills and knowledge of evolving practice and legislative requirements.
- Provide professional support to other radiographers, including supervision and mentoring.
- Develop and implement protocols to improve service planning and delivery, working closely with the Lead Superintendent and Superintendent Radiographers.
- Contribute to the development of the department's CPD program, ensuring staff have access to relevant training and education.

Requirements- BSc Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and current HCPC registration.
- Postgraduate training and a minimum of 2 years' experience in CT and Interventional Radiology, with evidence of recent CPD relevant to the role.
- Experience in supervision and training of less experienced radiographers, students, and departmental staff in a specialized modality.
- Ability to present oral and written information effectively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
