About the Role

The Mechanical Estimator will play a crucial part in the success of our team at Sustainable Resourcing. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical estimates for our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed mechanical estimates for D&B projects
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to provide accurate pricing
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Manage bids and quotations to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Produce tenders and supporting documentation efficiently and professionally
  • Collaborate with the Head of Estimating to ensure all tenders are reviewed and submitted on time
Requirements
  • Mechanical background and mechanical estimating experience are essential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, with the ability to learn new systems and processes
