About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Care Assistant to join our friendly team. As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. If you are passionate about providing person-centred care and support, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents with their daily needs, including personal care and activities.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individual care plans.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: £11.75 per hour (weekdays) and £12.92 per hour (weekends).
- Overtime pay: + £2.50 per hour.
- Time and a half or double time for public holidays.
- Sleep-in allowance: £50 per night.
- 30 days annual leave.
Working Hours
You will work a set pattern of morning and afternoon shifts, with a full-time contract of 37.5 hours per week (5 shifts per week). Shifts are 7.5 hours long, with the earliest start at 7am and the latest finish at 10pm.
Weekend Working
Weekend working is essential, with a rotating shift pattern. When you work a weekend, you will have the time off during the week.
