Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Industries Preferred:
Experience in any warehouse sector is valuable, with a preference for Rolling Stock, Automotive, and Aerospace backgrounds.

Relevant Disciplines:
Consideration will be given to candidates with experience as Materials Controllers, Stores and Materials Schedulers, and Planners.

Role Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this position include receiving, controlling, and delivering materials to various sections of the depot. The successful candidate will perform general stores duties aligned with the priorities and timelines of work requirements, ensuring exceptional service to both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Issuing materials to internal and external clients.
  • Picking, packing, and distributing materials for production on-site.
  • Restocking line-side material locations.
  • Preparing and issuing material kits for production.

Goods In:
  • Offloading materials upon delivery using proper manual handling techniques.
  • Verifying the quality and quantity of delivered materials against documentation.
  • Logging and addressing delivery discrepancies through the NCR process.
  • Completing and filing delivery paperwork.

Auditing and Stock Management:
  • Conducting both planned and unplanned audits.
  • Transacting materials between storage locations and sites within management systems.
  • Performing safety audits within the stores area, identifying potential issues.

Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication abilities.
  • Experience with SAP and/or Maximo systems is advantageous.
  • Possession of a current UK driving license.
